Mori

Mori has migrated south. He was born in Scotland, went to university in Leeds and currently lives in London. Having worked previously as a producer, writer and director at a major advertising agency in London he understands the mechanics of the industry and what it takes to successfully work with clients. As a director strong storytelling is always at the heart of his work, whether that be shooting commercials, music videos or narrative, whilst always keeping an eye on aesthetics. He has a penchant for getting strong performances out of actors but also from real people, having worked with police officers, the visually impaired and Big Issue vendors in commercial settings. He’s worked with big brands such as Kleenex and BMW down to lesser known brands and bands, and he usually has a personal project bubbling away in the background, most notably Dinosaur a short film which was part of the official selection for Welsh Bafta-qualifying Carmathan Bay Film Festival and Oxford International Film Festival amongst many others. Outside of directing Mori runs a small, electronic music festival, DJs and shoots on 35mm film
